Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for elementary students
- Familiarity with push-in and pull-out service models
- Strong skills in differentiated instruction, interventions, and accommodations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators, specialists, and families
- Proficient in supporting executive functioning and academic skill development
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted academic instruction individually and in small groups
- Deliver IEP-driven support and interventions within general education and resource settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure grade-level curriculum access
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation for IEP compliance
- Facilitate communication with families and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment tailored to student strengths and needs
