K-5 Special Education Teacher - Des Plaines, Illinois

Key Qualifications:

• Current Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS-I) certification valid in the State of Illinois
• Experience teaching special education, particularly at the elementary level (K-5)
• Background in working with students on the autism spectrum highly preferred
• Strong skills in individualized instruction, classroom management, and collaboration with support staff
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction and interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
