What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification for early childhood (required)
• Background in early childhood education, developmental delays, or related fields
• Experience adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learning styles and needs
• Collaborative spirit to partner with paraprofessionals, speech therapists, and other specialists
• Ability to create a nurturing and positive classroom climate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies within a playful, age-appropriate curriculum
• Regularly assess student progress and communicate findings to families and team members
• Support social, emotional, and academic growth in a welcoming classroom
• Foster partnerships with parents and caregivers to extend learning beyond the classroom
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and federal special education guidelines
