Special Education Teacher - Des Plaines, Illinois

This full-year contract position, beginning August 11th, focuses on guiding students in 2nd and 3rd grades. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
• Strongly preferred: Experience with autism programming or autism endorsement
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering student independence and social/emotional growth
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with families, paraprofessionals, and related service staff
