As the Special Education Coordinator/Instructional Coach, you’ll:

Responsibilities:

• Champion high-quality instructional practices within special education classrooms
• Ensure adherence to federal and state special education requirements and timelines
• Organize and facilitate Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Mentor and coach special education staff, supporting their professional growth and instructional strategies
• Collaborate closely with building administrators, general education coaches, and the Director of Special Education and Student Services
• Help develop and implement inclusive educational initiatives, expanding the continuum of services for students with disabilities

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant education field
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Teacher endorsement(s)
• At least three years of special education experience, with Illinois certification and all required endorsements
• Proven ability to coach and inspire fellow educators
