Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and required Special Education endorsements
• Experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged children in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each child's goals
• Create a supportive classroom environment that nurtures social, emotional, and academic development
• Work closely with families, related service providers, and other educators to deliver holistic instruction and care
• Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Track student progress, modify instructional plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
