There are openings for two full-time professionals eager to support and inspire students in self-contained and resource settings.

What you'll bring:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with middle school students
• Confidence in supporting students with behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with other educators and paraprofessionals
• Enthusiasm for fostering a supportive, engaging classroom environment

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading classrooms for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade self-contained students (totaling nine students)
• Working alongside paraprofessionals to provide individualized support
• Delivering engaging instruction, behavior interventions, and adapted curriculum as needed
• Fostering a positive, structured environment where students can thrive academically and socially
• Handling a 7th grade resource position focused on targeted academic interventions for students requiring additional support
• Collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student success
• Maintaining accurate educational records and implementing IEP goals

This full-time assignment runs from 7:50 AM–3:10 PM, providing a consistent daily schedule that allows you to build strong connections with your students and team.
