- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Michigan (or eligible for reciprocity)
- Expertise working with early childhood populations (Pre-K or younger)

- Patience, empathy, and creativity in instructional approaches
- Previous experience in a school-based SPED environment is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students’ abilities, interests, and IEP goals
- Assess student progress and actively participate in IEP meetings and documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators
- Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that supports each child’s growth
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies for at-home reinforcement
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal special education guidelines
