Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education teaching certification/license
• Previous experience teaching Special Education, preferably at the middle school level
• Proficient in adapting curriculum and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
• Knowledge of various learning disabilities, behavioral interventions, and differentiated instruction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement instructional plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress toward educational goals
• Collaborate with general educators and related service providers to ensure effective inclusion
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress, strategies, and goals
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student success
