Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state Special Education Teaching Certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students with diverse needs preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with various learning disabilities or special needs, following IEPs and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create effective, differentiated lesson plans
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, sharing progress and strategies for student success
• Maintain accurate student records and assess progress toward IEP goals
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and classroom technologies
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
