In this role, you will:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Support academic, behavioral, and social development in a structured elementary classroom
• Develop and implement individualized academic and behavioral interventions
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Maintain accurate IEP documentation and closely monitor student progress
• Utilize your strong classroom management skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Preferred qualifications include:

• Valid Michigan Special Education certification (endorsed in ASD, EI, CI, or LD)
• Previous experience in elementary self-contained classrooms, particularly with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Solid knowledge of IEP development and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
