Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with a middle school population preferred
• Strong understanding of resource room instruction and caseload management
• Ability to adapt content for diverse learning needs, with a focus on math and reading mastery
• Collaborative mindset with skills in co-teaching and classroom push-in supports
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students, ensuring all academic and IEP goals are met
• Deliver direct instruction in math and reading within the resource room
• Push into general education classrooms to provide targeted assistance and facilitate inclusion
• Develop individualized instruction plans and monitor student progress regularly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school support staff, and families
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development sessions, and IEP reviews

Highly competitive hourly compensation is offered, within the range of $32 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
