Qualifications:

  • Active California teaching credential in mild/moderate or moderate/severe special education (CTC screenshot required)
  • Experience supporting students with a variety of learning needs in a resource setting
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and collaboration with general education staff
  • Strong skills in IEP development, data-driven instruction, and compliance documentation
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction, accommodations, and modifications for students in the Resource Specialist Program
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed records, track progress, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Foster positive student engagement and advocate for equitable educational opportunities
