• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher (or ability to obtain by contract start date)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with high school students in a special education setting strongly preferred
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong knowledge of accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated lesson plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct case management activities, including IEP meetings, assessments, and documentation
