Key Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience working with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Enthusiasm for various classroom models, including self-contained, resource, inclusion, and co-teaching
• Ability to perform all standard responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher
• Strong work ethic, a growth mindset, and a positive approach to student learning and professional relationships

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt instruction and materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student success
• Track student progress and maintain thorough records per school and state requirements
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes
