Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students
• Strong knowledge of reading instruction and intervention strategies
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Previous contract or travel experience in school settings is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized reading instruction to students with varying abilities
• Write, review, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assess students’ progress and adapt instructional approaches accordingly
• Partner closely with regular education staff, therapists, and families to coordinate student support
