Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education (PK-4 or appropriate state equivalent)
• Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood special education best practices
• Ability to develop individualized learning strategies and adapt curriculum based on student needs
• Compassionate communication with young learners, families, and educational teams
• Ability to manage classroom routines and facilitate an inclusive, nurturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for preschoolers in both morning (8:00-10:30) and afternoon (12:20-2:50) sessions
• Adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs and IEP goals of students
• Create a positive, supportive classroom that encourages growth and participation
• Collaborate with classroom assistants, related service providers, and administrators
• Consistently maintain student records and progress documentation
• Foster effective communication with families regarding student development
