Soliant is looking for an experienced Elementary Life Skills Special Education Teacher to join their team for the remainder of the school year. This position supports a small, highly structured classroom with strong para support and a consistent daily routine.
Position Highlights:

Serve a Life Skills caseload of 7–8 students

Lead and collaborate with 4 classroom paraprofessionals

Work schedule: 7.5 hours per day (approx. 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.)

Includes a 30-minute paid conference period and a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Assignment runs ASAP through the end of the school year

PD/workdays require prior approval
Role Expectations:

Deliver specialized instruction aligned to student IEP goals.

Support functional, academic, and life skills instruction tailored to individual needs.

Maintain clear routines, behavior systems, and a positive classroom culture.

Coordinate with paras to ensure consistent support and safe, effective learning environments.

Collaborate with families, service providers, and campus teams.

Complete required documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner.
Qualifications:

Must hold active Texas Special Education certification.

Prior experience in Life Skills or significant support needs settings strongly preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and behavior management skills required.
