Certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Durham, NC

Located in the vibrant Durham, NC area, this position focuses on Early Childhood services for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year (NSY 26/27). You’ll be working full time (37.5 hours per week), providing both pull-out and push-in support to early learners. The caseload is typically divided between two dedicated teachers, allowing for meaningful connections and collaborative support.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification and licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience or training in Early Childhood Special Education
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and effective intervention strategies
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with families and school colleagues
• Collaborative spirit to co-manage caseloads and develop effective teaching approaches

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction through a blend of pull-out and push-in models
