Early Childhood Licensed Special Education Teacher in Durham, NC

Your expertise will guide individualized instruction, promote inclusive classroom practices, and encourage the social-emotional growth of each child entrusted to your care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification and licensure as a Special Education Teacher, with an endorsement in Early Childhood (or eligibility to obtain)
• Demonstrated experience in early childhood special education settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Proficiency delivering both pull-out and push-in supports
• Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to cultivating a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans in partnership with support staff and families
• Provide a combination of direct instruction and in-class support to meet students’ unique needs
