Certified Licensed Special Education Teacher in Durham, NC

Your expertise will help guide a manageable caseload of students, utilizing a blend of pull-out and push-in service models. You’ll be instrumental in creating engaging, adaptive instruction tailored to each child's needs, helping them achieve their highest potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher for early childhood or PreK–K
• Valid teaching license in Special Education
• Experience working with early childhood caseloads strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction using both pull-out and push-in service models
• Design and implement IEPs and provide progress updates to families and staff
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Partner closely with a co-teacher to effectively manage the caseload
• Liaise with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Track student progress using data-driven assessment tools
