Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience in a school setting, ideally with elementary-age students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to design and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Solid classroom management strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students in a self-contained setting, adapting lessons for various learning styles
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment where every student feels safe and empowered
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
