Special Education Teacher - Eagle, CO

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting early childhood students as a Special Education Teacher serving pre-kindergarten learners. This full-time position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 10–20 students, tailoring your instructional approach to provide individualized support.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching license or certification
• Experience working with early childhood/PreK populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Adaptability to work across various school sites based on student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction and interventions aligned with students’ IEPs
• Create inclusive, supportive classroom environments that encourage engagement and growth
• Conduct and document assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and families to promote holistic student success
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
• Travel between assigned sites as required by caseload and district needs
