Special Education Teacher

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Eagle, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a contract position supporting a small caseload of middle school students and offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with significant support needs.

Position Details

• Location: Eagle, CO
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Employment Type: Full-time, contract position
• Caseload: Approximately 5 middle school-aged students
• Student Population: Students with significant support needs
• Collaborative school environment with district and special education support staff

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' academic, behavioral, and functional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Special Education License required
• Previous experience working with students with significant support needs preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to helping students achieve academic and personal success
