Special Education Teacher - Eagle Point, Oregon

Make an impact supporting students with autism within a dynamic, collaborative educational environment in the Southern Oregon region. We're seeking experienced Autism Specialists to work with K-12 students across the continuum of need, from high-functioning students in general education to those with more significant challenges in self-contained settings. This is a full-time, onsite contract position, serving schools within a 35-mile radius of Medford, Oregon—including the Ashland, Eagle Point, and Grants Pass areas.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with students on the Autism spectrum, across various grade and age levels
• Background supporting students with a range of abilities, from high-functioning in general education to non-verbal in self-contained classrooms
• Demonstrated experience conducting Autism assessments and evaluations to measure educational impact
• Master's-level Special Education Teacher, SLP, or School Psychologist with a valid Oregon TSPC license (SLPs may also be board-certified)
• Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are welcome to apply, provided they have focused Autism training, substantial experience in public education settings, and familiarity with special education frameworks
• Ability to work onsite exclusively; travel professionals are encouraged to apply

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to support students on the Autism spectrum
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), track student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and caregivers
