Special Education Teacher - IN

Qualifications: 

• Valid Indiana Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a self-contained special education classroom preferred
• Strong background teaching middle school mathematics
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to middle school students in a self-contained special education setting
• Develop and deliver individualized lessons aligned with students' IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success
• Monitor academic and behavioral progress while maintaining accurate documentation
