As a Special Education Teacher for elementary students, you’ll work full-time, five days a week throughout the 2026–2027 school year, making a difference from August 24, 2026 through June 14, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Maryland Special Education Teacher license required
• Previous experience within a school-based setting preferred
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities
• Skilled at differentiating instruction for a wide range of learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and goals
• Provide specialized instruction in both inclusive and pull-out environments as determined by student need
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom community
