Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education teaching certification
• Experience teaching students with diverse needs in Grades K-5, Grades 6-8, or Grades 9-12 preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional classroom management and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset to partner with fellow educators, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to students with special needs across multiple grade levels
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Monitor and assess student progress, modifying approaches to meet evolving needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and strategies for support
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements
