Required Qualifications:

  • Valid and active South Carolina Special Education license
  • Appropriate SPED endorsements/certification as required by state regulations
  • Demonstrated experience working with early childhood or pre-kindergarten special education populations preferred
  • Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities to connect with students, colleagues, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans addressing each child’s unique learning needs
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and family members to support each student’s educational journey
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with IEP goals
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and accommodations to facilitate student growth
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and required trainings throughout the contract period
