Special Education Teacher in Eastover, SC

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education (SPED) License with Early Childhood endorsements
• Experience working with PreK students, specifically those with developmental delays
• Strong understanding of early intervention practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellence in communication and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and families
• Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging instructional plans for 3-year-old students diagnosed with developmental delays
• Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments tailored to each child's unique needs
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with special education guidelines
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student support
