Special Education Teacher - Eden Prairie, MN

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their educational growth in a special education setting. We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to fulfill seven contract positions, each supporting a unique caseload and learning environment. These roles are all on-site and span until June 11, 2026, providing meaningful opportunities to guide students with diverse needs toward success.

Current openings include:

• Autism Specialists (RiverEast Elem/Secondary – Setting 4; two roles, 4–6 students each)
• Autism Specialist (Farnsworth Aerospace Lower – Setting 3 ASD/DCD; 6–8 students)
• Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (271 Belvidere Bldg – Itinerant)
• Special Education Teacher (Global Arts Plus Lower – Settings 1 & 2; 15–19 students)
• Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Specialist (Farnsworth Aerospace Upper – Setting 3 ASD/DCD; 8–10 students)
• Special Education Teacher/Homebound Services (Various locations, reports to RiverEast)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license required
• Experience with special education caseloads or specific populations (ASD, DCD, ECSE) preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different educational settings and student needs
• Committed to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction, support, and interventions based on student needs
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and support staff
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Provide direct and homebound specialized services where indicated
