Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in special education (required)
- Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, DCD, or similar needs
- Strong collaboration skills to work with diverse teams, including general education staff and families
- Ability to individualize instruction and develop effective IEPs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in alignment with each student's IEP
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom environment
This on-site role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, and includes placements such as elementary and secondary programs, itinerant early childhood services, and homebound teaching.
