Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher license with an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
  • Proven experience working with students who require intensive programming and support
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs), behavioral interventions, and differentiation strategies
  • Dedication to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective, individualized instruction and therapeutic interventions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Design and adapt curriculum and lessons to ensure accessibility and engagement for each student
  • Monitor, track, and report student progress against IEP goals, making adjustments as necessary
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and family members to support each student’s academic, social, and emotional development
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education
  • Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student independence and growth
