We're seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for several contract positions, with openings across a range of areas including Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, and comprehensive Special Education roles.

These roles will run from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek within a collaborative and student-centered environment. With 10 positions available in various educational settings, you have the chance to leverage your skills where they're needed most—whether in structured behavioral programs, specialized learning environments, or classrooms designed for specific disabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required for consideration)
• Experience or certification in one or more specialty areas preferred (Autism, EBD, SLD, DCD)
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Strong skills in IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Familiarity with evidence-based, inclusive teaching practices
• Previous district employment will be checked; candidates with prior adverse endings or unresolved conflicts will not be considered

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet student needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment to promote student growth
• Utilize data and assessment results to shape instructional strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
