Required Skills & Background:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Minnesota
• Previous experience in a Special Education classroom strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Proficient in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction tailored to students with disabilities
• Develop, update, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to integrate students into inclusive settings
• Monitor progress, document milestones, and report on student development
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to address different learning styles
