Middle School Elementary Special Education Teacher - Eden Prairie, MN

Current openings:

• Elementary Special Education Teacher: Requires Level 3 MN Special Education Licensure; work in a dedicated elementary classroom.
• Middle School Special Education Teacher: Requires Level 3 MN Special Education Licensure; engage with students in a middle school setting.

Qualifications:

• Active Level 3 Minnesota Special Education Licensure is required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher with elementary or middle school students strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable partnering with faculty, support staff, parents, and administrators
• A passion for fostering inclusion and supporting exceptional learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP, ensuring academic and social-emotional progress
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and monitor student achievements
• Communicate regularly with families, participating in team meetings and progress reviews
• Adapt lessons and classroom environments to meet individual student needs
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture conducive to learning
