Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Adaptability and creativity in delivering differentiated instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instructional support to students in both individual and group settings
- Adapt general education curriculum to meet each student’s unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for inclusive practices
- Establish and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and outside service providers
- Collect and analyze student performance data to guide instruction and document progress
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required
