Special Education Teacher | Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Exciting opportunities await for passionate Special Education Teachers ready to make a difference in a supportive school setting near Eden Prairie, MN. We're seeking two dedicated professionals for full-time contract roles in a resource classroom environment, serving a caseload of 20-30 students. Both positions focus on individualized instruction and collaborative support—one primarily with elementary students, and the other spanning upper elementary through some secondary levels.

If you have a strong commitment to fostering growth in diverse learners, your expertise is needed to help students reach their full potential. Staff development will be provided during the week of August 24 and August 31 to ensure a smooth transition into the school year, with scholars beginning classes on September 8.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education license required (T2-T4 ABS, Autism strongly preferred; open to other Special Education certifications)
• Experience working with resource models and managing moderate caseloads of diverse learners
• Innovative, flexible, and responsive to students’ unique educational needs
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt instruction and assessment methods

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student learning profiles
• Deliver targeted, small group and individualized instruction within a resource classroom
• Monitor student progress, coordinate with general education teachers, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
• Participate in staff development and ongoing professional learning
