Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
• Experience working in center-based or similar special education settings
• Commitment to on-site instruction (no virtual/remote options available)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create a structured, positive, and adaptive classroom environment
• Proactive approach to individual student needs and educational goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students in a center-based setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Track student progress, adapting strategies as needed for optimal growth
• Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages social and academic skill development
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff
• Maintain up-to-date records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements

This contract position runs through May 28, 2027, with a full-time, on-site schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
