Special Education Teacher - Eden Prairie, MN

Openings include positions at RiverEast Day School and Highland Park Middle School, each serving a caseload of approximately 20 students alongside the support of dedicated paraeducators and behavioral aides. Part-time options are available at Highland Park Elementary and an additional site to be determined, allowing for added scheduling flexibility. If you’re passionate about early intervention, a unique early childhood role is also available which incorporates home visits for comprehensive, family-focused student support.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
• Experience working in K–12 or early childhood settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to individualized learning and student progress
• Compassion and adaptability in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Maintain accurate records and data for student progress
• Conduct home visits for early education, if applicable
