Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a K-12 setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Positive, patient, and resourceful approach to classroom challenges
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Implement and manage IEPs, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Utilize a range of teaching techniques and assistive technology as needed
