Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Minnesota or eligible for reciprocity)
• Previous experience teaching students with a range of disabilities (mild/moderate to severe/profound)
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, individualized instruction, and data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to creating nurturing, positive relationships with students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to address students’ unique learning needs
• Develop, implement, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear, ongoing communication with families and team members
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative, innovative school culture
