Special Education Teacher - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Currently, there are four immediate needs:

• Two full-year Behavior Specialist positions at the Ann Bremer Education Center (2.0 FTE total)
• Two leave-of-absence coverage positions as Behavior Specialists at the South Education Center (1.0 FTE each)

Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related discipline
• Moderate experience working in a relevant educational or behavioral setting
• Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (PELSB) or active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification—or process of obtaining one
• Nonviolent crisis intervention training
• Candidates with experiences as Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teachers, Autism Spectrum Disorder Teachers with interventionist backgrounds, or Behavioral Analysts are encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and present analytic results to parents, staff, and community partners
• Collaborate with teacher teams, school psychologists, and social workers on Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
• Develop effective data collection systems; monitor and interpret data to assess and refine intervention strategies, ensuring the highest student support
