Grades 9 - 12 Certified Special Ed Teacher | Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting high school students as a Special Education Teacher. In this role, you'll make a direct impact in an engaging High School setting, working closely with a caseload of 15 students in grades 9-12. The contract follows a consistent weekday schedule—7.25 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, typically starting around 7:30 AM and wrapping up near 3:30 PM. This position also comes with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Desired Qualifications:

• Possession of a Tier 3 Minnesota Department of Education License in Special Education is required.
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, support staff, and related services providers.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Commitment to serving diverse student populations in grades 9-12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 high school students, ensuring services and supports align with their unique IEP goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans to foster student growth and achievement.
• Maintain current, accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with other educational professionals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with students and their families, promoting a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
