Special Ed Teacher | Edison, New Jersey

Make a positive impact by supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher for kindergarten through 3rd grade students. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in elementary settings (K-3 preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborative spirit for effective communication with staff and families
• Organizational skills and adaptability in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for students in K-3rd grade, following IEP goals
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Track student progress, collect data, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
• Create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive
