You’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement tailored learning plans, address unique academic and behavioral needs, and collaborate with related service providers to support a welcoming and inclusive classroom culture.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Oklahoma State Educator License with Mild-Moderate or Severe-Profound Endorsement
  • At least 2 years of recent classroom teaching experience in Special Education preferred
  • Experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging, and respectful classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals and accommodations
  • Assess student progress and modify instruction as needed to ensure academic and behavioral growth
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers
  • Communicate regularly with families on student progress and strategies for support
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to timelines for IEPs and progress reports
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
