Special Education Teacher in Edwards, CO

With a set weekly schedule—Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, and Wednesday from 9:40 AM to 3:50 PM—you’ll enjoy a predictable routine and a healthy work-life balance. Qualifications and Preferences:

• Valid Special Education teaching license (please have a copy available when applying)
• Experience working with students with significant support needs preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
• Ability to provide a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs and strengths
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and related service providers
• Modify curriculum and instruction for a small, dedicated caseload of five students
• Foster social, emotional, and academic growth through evidence-based strategies
• Track student progress and maintain clear documentation

This position offers the competitive contract rate of $82.58 per hour, reflecting your expertise and the importance of your work.
