This contract opportunity offers a chance to support young learners in a dedicated school environment, working directly with students in need of specialized education. With two immediate positions available, you’ll have the opportunity to work onsite supporting either an Elementary Autism classroom or a PreK SPED setting.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid Special Education licensure (SPED License required; Emergency Certification not accepted)
- Experience in Special Education, preferably with elementary and/or early childhood populations
- Willingness to work onsite (remote/virtual not available)
- Flexibility to accommodate travel status and pending certifications (if applicable)
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to individualized student needs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s developmental and learning needs
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters inclusion and growth
- Work closely with families and fellow educators to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training sessions
