Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current teaching certification in Special Education
• Valid teaching license applicable to elementary, middle, or high school levels
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Experience working with a diverse range of learning needs and disabilities

• Adaptability in supporting students in various grade levels as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver individualized instructional programs based on each student’s unique needs
• Assess and track student progress, modifying instruction to achieve educational goals
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere that nurtures growth and confidence
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and family members to coordinate services and strategies
• Attend IEP meetings, update documentation, and communicate effectively with parents and staff
