Key Qualifications:
- Valid TX SPED EC-12 certification is a must
- Experience working in special education or similar settings
- Familiarity with adaptive curriculum and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse needs in early childhood
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to life skills and functional academics for young children
- Develop, update, and follow individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational teams, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and independence
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training as required
