Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching credential
• Previous experience working in special education settings (self-contained and/or resource)
• Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs

• Enthusiastic work ethic, collaborative spirit, and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instructional plans for students in self-contained or resource classrooms
• Manage K-12 caseloads, adapting strategies to meet each learner’s needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective IEPs
• Track student progress, report outcomes, and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Engage in ongoing professional growth, utilizing best practices in special education
