As the Special Education Teacher, you’ll work closely with a diverse team to deliver tailored instruction and interventions. Your role ensures each student receives the academic and behavioral supports they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, specialized instruction in line with each student’s IEP goals
- Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions for students with a variety of disabilities
- Collaborate effectively with related service providers and classroom support staff
- Track student progress, complete documentation, and communicate results to families and team members
- Cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and well-managed classroom culture
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification, LBS1
- Past experience working with students with emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and related needs
- Demonstrated skill in individualized instruction and support
- Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention abilities
