Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably in special education
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to implement differentiated instructional strategies
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ individual learning needs
• Write, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school specialists
• Track and report on student progress, making adjustments as needed
• Foster a supportive classroom environment where all learners feel valued
• Engage families and caregivers, providing updates and coordinating supportive strategies
